Kia Scheron Ramseur was born on May 6, 1979 to Juanita Ramsur and Spencer E. McCall in Winston-Salem, NC.
Kia was a graduate from East Forsyth High School Class of 1998 and continued her studies at Forsyth Technical Community College in Computer Engineering. After graduation, she worked in various jobs. Most recently, she was a benefits administrator. Kia was a naturalists and connoisseur of natural beauty products. She loved to make cuts of different oils and made sea moss from scratch. Kia also loved spending time with her daughter, creating everlasting memories.
On the evening of June 7, 2024, Kia passed away unexpectedly. She was preceded in death by her father, Spencer E. McCall.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Ramsur; daughter, Yesenia Brown; sisters, Shamora Ramseur and Tiffany (William) Hill; brothers, Spencer, Steven, and Stepfone McCall; aunt, Lisa Ingram; uncles, Stanley Days, John (Susan) Commines, Eddie Ramseur, Ronald Ramseur, and Herman Ingram; special niece, Paige Ramseur; godmother, Eva Diallo; and a host of cousins and
friends.
A family visitation and public viewing will be 12 Noon Wednesday January 17, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1317 Cherry St, Winston-Salem. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
At the request of the family there will be no public viewing day prior to scheduled services. All floral arrangement can be sent to 317 Jefferson St, Kernersville, NC 27284 beginning Tuesday January 16, 2024 after 1:00pm.
